Are you one of the fortunate few who is near a theatre showing Kenshin or is it up online somewhere? I really would like to see it.

FYI, sewing machines were widely introduced in the mid-nineteenth century and it's not unreasonable for there to be clothes with machine stitching in 1878.

I saw The Hobbit in a theatre with 16 screens and 6 were showing The Hobbit. Makes for shorter lines and more showtimes if that's what you are there to see but I agree it sucks if you want to see something else.
