lloll4Last week went to a talk: rather than sit at home and try to get my brain to absorb stuff, I thought it much better to go and let smarter people talk to me instead. So 'twas a talk by Adrian Briggs, a professor at Oxford. Rubin and New Cap: Foreign Judgments and Insolvency, if anyone's interested.
The content of the talk itself was nicely organised, the speaker, entertaining. Nothing to quibble at. So it is only out of pure schadenfraude that I show:
